HubSpot April 2020 Highlights

HubSpot April Highlights

HubSpot has made several changes recently. You can watch the update video here.

Here are the latest HubSpot product highlights to get you up-to-date:

The CMS Hub

The all-new CMS Hub takes the pain out of managing your website by enabling you to focus less on your systems and more on providing a good experience for customers visiting your website.

It has plenty of features for both marketers and developers.

Themes in CMS Hub allow developers to build websites using workflows, tools, and technologies that they prefer with the brand new CMS CLI local development tooling.

The CMS developers’ website has also been re-launched. It includes new documentation and tutorials on newly launched features like themes and the local development tooling.

There are two new CMS assets too. These include CMS boilerplate and Themes.

The boilerplate gives developers a head start when building websites and integrates seamlessly with local development tooling.

If you don’t have development resources you need, then Themes can give you everything you need to create a beautiful website on CMS Hub.

There are 7 default themes currently available to serve as inspiration. They offer a variety of designs and require no coding skills to create websites fast.

Drag and Drop

The recently released drag-and-drop page editing feature gives marketers the ability to change their page layouts.

You can move around entire columns, rows modules and module sections, etc.

It comes with some intuitive new styling options like background images and gradients, alignments, and cloning, etc.

From the website pages tool, you can check out the new themes which are all drag-and-drop enabled.

From the landing page app, you can access starter templates that are fully customizable using drag-and-drop.

Professional and Enterprise Versions

CMS Hub comes in two tiers: professional and enterprise versions.

The professional version includes the already-mentioned features. They make it easier for marketers and developers to manage a website.

The enterprise version contains all the features in CMS Hub Professional as well as features that enable you to create web app experiences, membership-driven content, and get more governance over a growing team.

Dashboard Library

The right dashboard can immensely improve your team alignment and leverage with leadership.

Dashboards combine multiple reports so that their shared context can provide even more insight. For example, marketers can bring the lead quantity report together with the lead quality report so that they can ensure they have enough leads that are the right type of leads.

The updates ensure the perfect dashboard is just a few clicks away. It includes a curated collection of prebuilt dashboards based on common-use cases and best practices.

You can use them as they come or as inspiration to create one of your own using the pre-built templates.

The new dashboard is available to all HubSpot account users.

Property Recycle Bin

To keep your database clean you sometimes delete all properties that are no longer in use. But what if you delete a property that you still need?

Well, that’s where the Property Recycle bin comes in. It takes the stress out of the deletion.

No need to manually rebuild a property if you make a mistake when deleting. Simply restore it.

This bin is now available to all HubSpot accounts.

Products SKU Property

The latest update includes a new SKU property suitable for companies with a large or complex product portfolio.

You can now add a SKU to any product and that SKU would be unique to each product in your product library.

The SKUs are searchable and viewable in the product library, deal, and quote views.

Custom Properties for Products

The latest updates include the ability to add custom properties to your product.

These include details such as product type, color wave, mentions, etc. that you want to track about your product.

When you make changes they will be reflected in the product library and in deal and line items.

You will be able to segment and report on these properties once you start tying those products with those custom properties back to your deals

Mobile Updates

The latest changes will enable sales representatives to accomplish key tasks and activities right from their phones.

They enable you to view key information about your tasks like type, due date, association right from the task tab.

You can also view task details and execute that task with just one click.

These latest updates are available on iOS and android.

Improved Calling Experience

With the provider switcher, you can now switch between HubSpot and Twilio calling services whenever the need arises -even before you finish your HubSpot calling minutes.

You can also switch between HubSpot calling and any of the third-party calling integrations found in the app marketplace.

Until now, sales reps have only had a narrow set of six call outcomes to choose from. The changes made to custom call outcomes now enable portal admins to create custom call outcomes specific to their organization. That makes the call outcome metric much more useful for tracking productivity.
